Football lovers have loved this initiative of Viacom 18 Sports. Viacom 18 Sports has received immense support from viewers as well as brands and more than 50 brands have associated with it for the telecast of the FIFA World Cup 2022. These brands include brands from the e-commerce, banking, financial services, fashion, hospitality and fintech sectors.

Live streaming of FIFA World Cup 2022 matches on JioCinema app was done with some new experiments. Users liked the hype mode given in it. In this, users could watch the match from many angles. Along with this, users were also given the facility that they could go back a few seconds and re-enjoy any exciting moment of the match. A goal scored or a brilliant save could be seen quickly and from multiple camera angles.

Eyes on earning 300 crores
This time Viacom18 sports along with all the brand partners had set a target of raising revenue of around 300 crores. Veteran companies like Mahindra, Visa, CakeZone, Black & White, Amul, intel, SBI tied up with him. According to the company’s media planner, the network had set a target of raising Rs 30 to 35 crore through co-presenting sponsorship and Rs 20 to 25 crore through associate sponsor. Apart from these two partners, the network was also eyeing TV and digital partners. The target is to collect Rs 10-11 crore with TV partner while Rs 7-8 crore with digital partners.
