UP Corona Update: In view of the alert issued regarding the BF.7 variant of Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh, the health department and administration have stepped up preparations and campaigns.

Following the instructions of the state government for the last two days, a lot of vigilance is being observed in all the districts across the state. In this sequence, investigations have been started at all the railway stations and airports of the state. Work has also started in hospitals under the Covid protocol.

We are getting people’s genome sequencing and RTPCR tests done. We have 200 beds in the hospital, out of which 50 are in ICU. We also did a mock drill for ventilators.
