One’s bank account can be emptied with the help of WhatsApp message. Fraudsters are trapping people in their net by pretending to be family and emptying their accounts.
We’re urging Australians to be wary of phone messages from a family member or friend claiming they need help, following a significant rise in ‘Hi Mum’ scams.
