Aftab Poonawalla’s post narco test will be conducted on Friday in the Shraddha Walkar murder case. FSL officials informed about this on Thursday evening. Officials say that due to security reasons, a four-member team of FSL and the officers probing the case will reach Tihar Jail and conduct a post narco test on Aftab.
Forensic officials said that Aftab’s post narco test would be conducted on Friday. For security reasons, the 4 member team of FSL and the officers probing the case will reach Tihar Jail and conduct post narco test of Aftab. This will be done from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Officials say that in this, the questions and answers done in the polygraph test and narco test will be asked by cross questioning. Aftab is currently lodged in Tihar jail number four, where questions will be answered from him.
Significantly, Aftab’s narco test was done on Thursday at Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini. FSL officials called it a success. However, officials said that if required, post narco test would also be conducted. For this, instead of taking Aftab to the hospital, he will be brought directly to FSL. Another session of the test will be done after counseling him.
Talking to the media after Aftab’s narco test, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Assistant Director, FSL, said that the report of the test that has been done will be prepared as soon as possible. If needed, post narco test will also be conducted. As of now nothing can be said about when it will happen or not. He declined to comment on Thursday’s test. He said that this is a very secretive process. Its information will be given after some time.
Police is tightening its noose around the neck of Aftab, accused in the famous Shraddha Walkar murder case that shook the entire country including the capital Delhi. The police are now claiming that they have gathered enough evidence to get Aftab punished. Earlier, the police had got Aftab’s polygraph test done. His report is yet to come.
