On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann not only congratulated all the Punjabis living in the country and the world on this festival, but also gave a very emotional message on this occasion.

Mann said that Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs and the founder of the Khalsa Panth, gave the message of love, solidarity and universal brotherhood during his lifetime. By creating the Khalsa Panth in 1699, Guru Sahib created a community that was always ready to sacrifice itself to achieve the goals of justice, equality, social welfare and protection of human rights.

Mann exhorted all Punjabis and Sikhs to carry forward the teachings and rich legacy of the great Saint Sepoy, who created the Khalsa Panth at Sri Anandpur Sahib, and follow the path of human service shown by him.
