Two groups of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab allegedly clashed here on Thursday. Police said that there was an altercation between the party workers. According to reports, the police had to use mild force to disperse the crowd. In this clash, two people named Sahbi and Luv Sharma have been injured and have been admitted to the hospital. Sahbi belongs to the Gogi faction, while Sharma is loyal to Joginder Singh Mann’s faction.

Punjab minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hair visited the sewage treatment plant near Palahi village here. The clash started soon after they left the venue. Sadar police station in-charge Rashpal Singh said that there was a scuffle between two people over some issue and they suffered minor injuries.
