Proposal to make Rahul Gandhi president passed in PCC meeting, right to take decisions on all posts left to high command

Jaipur: A meeting of PCC delegates was held in the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress office to make the Congress National President. In this meeting, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, State in-charge Ajay Maken, PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara and all the delegates were present. During this, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot proposed to make Rahul Gandhi the National President of Congress. All the members of the PCC delegates raised their hands and passed this resolution. Under this proposal, the decision to appoint the National President of Congress and other posts has been left to the high command. The decision of the High Command will be accepted by all the members.


First meeting with new members
Before the election of the national president of the Congress, many new members have been made in the party. Meeting with these members was held for the first time in PCC. During this, Returning Officer Rajendra Kumpawat was also present. After the departure of the returning officer, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot proposed to make Rahul Gandhi the national president, which was passed by all the members raising their hands. State in-charge Ajay Maken said that we all have a feeling that Rahul Gandhi should lead the Congress.

The situation will become clear on October 8.
The notification for the election of the National President of Congress will be issued on September 22. After this, nominations can be filed from September 24 to 30. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on October 1. The last date for withdrawal of nominations is October 8. In such a situation, on October 8, it will be clear who will be the national president of Congress. If more than one nomination is filed, the polling will be held on October 17 and the counting of votes will take place on October 19.
