In Raniganj area of Pratapgarh, a youth had ordered for an iPhone online. When he got its delivery on Friday, he was shocked as soon as he opened the packet. People caught the delivery boy who was trying to escape and handed him over to the police. Police is interrogating him.
Sarvesh Singh, a resident of Muar Adharganj village of Raniganj area, had booked an iPhone mobile online a few days back. For this he had also made online payment. On Friday, a young man from Lambhua police station area of Sultanpur, posing as an agent of a courier company, reached Sarvesh’s house to give him a mobile. Sarvesh had some doubts and started opening the mobile packet in front of the agent.
Seeing this, the agent tried to run away from there. When people caught him and opened the packet in front of him, instead of the iPhone, two bars of soap were found in it. The villagers beat up the agent. After getting the information, the police reached and took him into custody. Police is questioning the accused. Sarvesh’s vigilance saved him from being cheated.
