Maruti Suzuki is launching its new cars this year but along with this the company is also launching updated versions of its existing cars, in which the new name of Maruti Espresso has been added.
The company has launched an updated version of this micro SUV Maruti Espresso. Before Maruti Espresso, the company has updated its popular hatchback car, Baleno, Celerio, WagonR, XL6 and Maruti Ertiga and launched their new avatar.
Maruti Suzuki has updated the engine of this SUV and has introduced some new features in the market, but the company has not made any changes in its design.
The company has launched the Maruti Espresso with a starting price of Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) which goes up to Rs 5.99 lakh on its top variant.
The company has launched Maruti Espresso with four variants, whose prices are as follows. The standard variant of the Maruti Espresso is priced at Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the LXi variant starts at Rs 4.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the VXi MT variant costs Rs 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and the VXi Plus is priced at Rs 4.49 lakh.
Apart from this, the starting price of its VXi (O) (AGS) is Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and its VXi Plus (O) AGS variant is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Talking about the engine and transmission of the new Maruti Espresso, the company has given a 1.0 liter dual jet petrol engine of K-Series in it. Along with Dual VVT, the company has also given Idle Start Stop technology in this engine.
This engine generates 65 bhp power and 89 Nm peak torque. The option of 5 speed manual and auto shift gear transmission has been given with this engine.
Regarding the mileage of the new Maruti Espresso, the company claims that this car gives a mileage of 24.76 kmpl on manual transmission and 25.30 kmpl on auto gear shift ie AGS transmission and this mileage has been certified by ARAI.
Talking about the features, the company has introduced a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, digital instrument cluster, front power windows, keyless entry, dual airbags on the front seat, rear parking sensors, speed alert, anti-lock braking. Features like system, EBD and seatbelt reminder have been continued along with new features like Electronic Stability Program, Hill Hold Assist etc.
