The media has been continuously confirming that the employees will get the good news within this time and some reports suggest that the Dearness Allowance may be announced in the month of Navratri i.e. 28th September. The government has not announced any official announcement. Still on the right date.
If the latest reports from media outlets are to be confirmed, dearness allowance may be increased to 4 per cent. That is, your total DA can increase to 38 percent. This is because the All India CPI-IW for the month of June is indicating the possibility of an increase in DA in the month of June. Apart from the increase in dearness allowance, employees can also get arrears during both July and August.
Dearness Allowance for Central Government Employees is updated twice every year. The first payment takes place between January and June and the second from July to December.
The all-India CPI-IW, in April 2022, increased by 1.7 points, and was 127.7 (one hundred and twenty seven points seven). According to the latest report by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, the percentage for a month’s change increased by 1.35 per cent over the previous month as compared to an increase of 0.42 per cent in the same month a year ago.

Is. The first hike in dearness allowance for 2022 was made public in March. The AICPI value in December 2021 was 125.4. However, it fell 0.3 points to 125.1 in January 2022. The All India CPI IW for February 2022, decreased by 0.1 points, and was 125.0 (one hundred and twenty five).
In terms of percentage change in a month, there was a decrease of 0.08 per cent over the previous month as compared to an increase of 0.68 per cent in the same month a year ago. This was a single digit increase for March. The AICPI index for March was 126.

Good news for Odisha employees – Employees and pensioners have got 3 percent increase like Odisha State Government. That is, the dearness allowance of the employees, which used to be 31 percent earlier, will now be increased to 34 percent.
And this dearness allowance will be made applicable to the employees from January 2022. That is, employees will also get DA arrears for a total of 8 months. With this new decision of the Odisha government, more than 4 lakh employees of the state will get the benefit of dearness allowance. Also, more than 3.5 lakh pensioners will get ISLA benefits.
