On the Jammu-Srinagar highway, near Samrauli in Udhampur district, a huge rock came and fell on the road late last night. Due to this, the road towards Jammu and Srinagar has been closed from 10.30 pm on Tuesday night. More than 600 small and big vehicles are stuck on both sides.
It was told from the Ramban control room that at 10.30 pm the road has been closed on both sides due to the rock hitting the road. Due to darkness, the work of removing the rock has not been started. In the morning, the rock will be removed by installing machinery. Till then traffic will remain closed.
