Today’s hearing in the Gyanvapi Masjid-Shringar Gauri case is over. In the Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri dispute case, the hearing was held in the court of District Judge Varanasi AK Vishvesh. Where both the parties made their point. The Muslim side insisted on the demand for hearing after eight weeks. The court fixed September 29 as the next date.
Before the hearing, the plaintiff women in the Gyanvapi case along with their advocates reached the District Judge Court. The hearing of the Gyanvapi-Shringar Gauri case was held for the first time in the district judge’s court after the demand of the Anjuman Insanjariya Masajid Committee was rejected.
What happened till now?
Let us inform that, the district judge had declared this case to be maintainable, after which an application has also been made on behalf of Anjuman. In such a situation, after hearing these applications, orders can be given by the court.
District Judge Dr. Ajay Krishna Vishwesh on September 12, 2022, while rejecting the demand of Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee, said that the Shringar Gauri case is maintainable. Also, the date of hearing was fixed on Thursday 22 September. In the order, he had said that on that day the number of people who had applied to become parties under Order 1 Rule 10, would be heard along with the issue in the Shringar Gauri case. The parties concerned will also file the liability.
Referring to the order of the Supreme Court, Anjuman applied in the court and sought hearing of the Shringar Gauri case after 8 weeks from the date of the order.
If revision is filed on behalf of Anjuman, then order should be issued only after hearing it. It will be decided on Thursday whether the hearing of the Shringar Gauri case will start or will start after eight weeks.
