A student of the hostel made a video of 60 girl students taking a bath and later it was made viral on social media. After this, a ruckus has arisen. Amidst all this, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal has reacted strongly by tweeting. Describing this incident as shameful, he has assured to take the strictest action against the culprits. On the other hand, the management of the private university located in Mohali, Chandigarh has denied the reports of lathi-charge on the campus. At the same time, Manisha Gulati, chairperson of Punjab Women’s Commission has appealed not to pay attention to any kind of rumours.

CM Kejriwal has tweeted on the incident of video of about 60 girl students taking a bath going viral on social media. He wrote, ‘Sad to hear the incident of Chandigarh University. Our daughters are our pride. A high level inquiry has been ordered into the incident. Strict action will be taken against whoever is guilty in this case. I am in constant touch with (Punjab) administration. I appeal to all of you to avoid rumours. Let us tell you that after the objectionable video of dozens of girl students went viral, there was a ruckus. The students of the hostel also staged a protest on Saturday night regarding this.
