Ingredients for making Falafel
Chickpeas – 1 cup (soaked in water for 6-8 hours)
Parsley – 1/2 cup (you can also take green onions)
Sesame – 2 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Green coriander – 1/4 cup
Garlic cloves – 3-4
Cumin roasted and ground – 3-4 tbsp
salt – as per taste

Put chickpea, parsley, sesame, onion, coriander, garlic, cumin, green chili, lemon juice all together in a blender and make a paste well. Keep in mind that the mixture should be slightly thick or coarse. Now take out this paste in a vessel. Add salt to it and mix well. If you like it spicy then you can also add red chili powder. Make small circular balls from this mixture. You can also shape it like a tikki. Do not make the balls too big. Now put oil in a pan and heat it well. Deep fry 5-6 balls at once.
