In such a situation, this year the government has already started preparations. The central government has swung into action amidst increasing cases of corona in other countries including China. In view of this, the Union Health Ministry is preparing to re-compulsory the air facility form related to filling the information of RT-PCR test done 72 hours before the journey. The government said on Thursday that some passengers arriving by international flights would be subjected to random coronavirus testing from December 24. The Union Health Ministry has written a letter in this regard to the Ministry of Civil Aviation amidst the increase in the cases of Corona virus in many countries. “Up to two per cent of the total passengers in each flight will be subjected to random testing at the airport upon arrival,” an official letter said. Such passengers in each flight will be selected by the respective airlines.
