Ahmed’s family and nephew Andalib Ahmed informed that Ahmed Aslam Ali died on Monday at the age of 77. Due to ill health last year, he was also admitted to the hospital during Christmas in December. One day a customer said that he chicken tikka is dry, so he wants to have some saas.

People liked this dish so much that it became the most popular dish in British restaurants. Ali told that people of western countries cannot eat hot curry, so prepared it with cream and curd which was according to the taste of the customer. According to Ali, he wanted to gift something to his Glasgow in the form of this dish.
