Bakrid 2022: 11 districts sensitive from the point of view of security, if banned animals are sacrificed, then the policemen will be responsible

On the occasion of Bakrid, the police have made elaborate arrangements to maintain security and peace. For this, the officers of the districts have been asked to manage by implementing the sector scheme. Along with special surveillance on social media, surveillance will also be done with drone cameras in sensitive areas.

Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that 11 districts have been identified as susceptible in view of Bakrid. It includes the districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Central Uttar Pradesh apart from some districts of Western Uttar Pradesh. Central paramilitary forces have been specially deployed here. He said that Eid-ul-Adha prayers would be offered in 28260 mosques and Idgahs across the state. In this regard, the police officers of all the districts have been instructed to be constantly on the move and be alert.

In total 1500 police station areas of the state, 2167 places have been identified as communally sensitive, where special monitoring is being done. 2422 sectors have been created and 1539 quick response teams have been deployed to make tight security arrangements. To maintain the security arrangements, 152 companies of PAC have been made available from the Police Headquarters level.

Apart from this, forces are also being made available to the districts from the range and zone level. Senior officers have been asked to remain on tour. The police captains of the districts have been asked to ensure that banned animals are not sacrificed under any circumstances. For this the police station of the area will be responsible.

24 company paramilitary forces sought for other festivals
A total of 24 company central paramilitary forces have been demanded for the upcoming festivals in the state. Out of this, 11 company forces have also been found for Bakrid. Sources say that additional central force has been demanded for the upcoming Kanwar Yatra, Sawan Mela in Ayodhya, Nagpanchami and Muharram.
